Tuesday Night Links

First up, with a nod to Cafe Hayek, one of my favorite economists, Antony Davies of Duequesne University, explains why the national debt is a huge problem. And he also shows why the standard rebuttal -- that it's not a problem since we owe it to ourselves --  is complete nonsense in this eight-minute Cato Institute podcast.

Next, the rape culture assault purveyors have a new documentary out that is designed, primarily, to destroy the career of Heisman Trophy Winner Jameis Winston. If you don't know much about this topic, this article will enlighten you.  And let me tell you, it's a scary story on a lot of levels.

My third link this week takes you to the most recent version of the MENA Misery Index, a product of Steve Hanke of the Cato Institute. Don't know what it the heck it is? Click here and find out. It's straight forward and definitely fascinating.

Lastly, blacks need to realize that it's the policies of the progressives and liberals that are responsible for their continued poor economic performance and decline relative to other groups in our society.  The American Interest discusses this issue, here.
