I, for One, Am Not Grateful for Government

And am in complete agreement with Judge Andrew Napolitano's view that the best things in life, those things to be truly thankful for, have nothing to do with the government.  Utilizing his characteristic "What if" rhetorical device, he hammers the political parties, the idea of government itself, and reminds us of what really matters.  Here's an interesting excerpt:
What if the government demands transparency from all of us but declines to be transparent to us? What if the government fosters the make-believe that it exists to serve us? What if it has access to all of our communications, bank accounts, health and legal records, and monthly bills? What if the government knows more about us than we know about it?
