Dread Not, It's Extinct!

Fascinating story from the Washington Post last week describing an amazing discovery in Argentina -- the skeletal remains of, by far, the largest dinosaur ever to eat the top off the trees!  Named the "Dreadnaughtus" after the massive British war ships of the early 20th century, this monster was 7X the size of Tyrannasours Rex, and heavier than a Boeing 737! By the way, this is a toe bone!

Click here to read the article and to see several additional photos from the dig site.  Pretty amazing how they find and secure the bones, and pretty amazing something that large could extist!
