HIstoric, Yes, But Not the First Talkie

Eighty-eight years ago today, the first full-length movie with synchronized sound effects and music track made it's debut.  The film, Don Juan, featured John Barrymore, perhaps the most famous of that legendary Hollywood film family, and has a fascinating bit of trivia attached to it: it holds the record for most kisses in film history! Apparently Barrymore, who later acquired the famous moniker "The Great Profile", kissed 191 different women in the movie!  From the link at wikipedia, here's the marketing poster:
