This past Wednesday, March 26th, would have been the 100th birthday for possibly the greatest hero in the history of the world.  From The Atlantic 17 years ago, here's an excellent discussion of him, his contributions, and why he's not better known to the public.  Hint: His views ran contrary to the hardcore environmentalists of the time.

Common Core about to drown?  Let's hope so.

To the hear the MSM tell it, you'd think that the idea of making voters prove citizenship before voting was wack-job crazy, and an idea that no one agrees with.  As usual, the MSM is just plain wrong.
