Liberal bias in academia: University of Michigan hypocrisy

Cornell law school professor William Jackson details the liberal bias and blatant hypocrisy of the administration at the University of Michigan in a post at his blog, College Insurrection.  Apparently, a libertarian student group requested funds from the school to help pay the costs of a guest speaker who is an anti-affirmative action expert.  The school turned them down, claiming a policy of not providing financial support for politically-related activities by student groups.  Fine, except:
Not only did UM administrators refuse to give the group funding for an anti-affirmative action event, but they also gave liberal students funding for a pro-affirmative action event just days before.
