Interview with Walter Block

In a post earlier this week, I introduced OLS readers to an important Austrian School economist named Walter Block.  As that post noted, Block is a strong believer that markets can handle most any human activity (I tend to agree with him) including road and highway systems.  Block is a very interesting character with a fascinating intellectual background and a rather quirky, intriguing manner of public speaking.  Personally, I find his ideas different (in a good, freedom-loving, kind of way) and his personality captivating; he just plain makes economics fun and interesting. Thus, I was excited to learn about an interview he gave recently to a leading investment organization, Casey Research (I love their tagline: "Personal Freedom Through Financial Freedom").  The interview covers a wide range of topics and is tremendously educational; and Block's unique sense of humor and his energetic personality also shine through.  In other words, I enjoyed it so much that I thought I'd share it with the folks On Liberty Street!
