A little weird, hugely promising

OLS has posted previously on the amazing new technology of 3D printing (here).  Mark Perry at Carpe Diem has a post today on a further extension of 3D, this time into biology.  According to CBS, it may soon be possible to print human tissue and body parts such as an ear.  Obviously the implications are amazing.  Here's a short video:
