Students: Here's one reason your tuition rates are so high

Dr. Benjamin Scafidi, writing in the January edition of The School Choice Advocate, discusses the massive growth of administration in American education.  The chart (scroll down to page 4) is particularly forceful, as is Scafidi:   "Such irresponsible use of taxpayer dollars is indefensible. As state leaders continue to find ways to keep their fiscal houses in order, they shouldn’t fret that today’s economy is causing some to trim fat in public schools. It will serve teachers, students, and taxpayers well." (HT: Carpe Diem).  And though Dr. Scafidi's article is specific to K-12, higher education in the US is just as guilty.
